What is a silent dance party? Well, if the image to the left doesn't give it away, the basic gist is that each person gets their own headphones and can adjust the channel and volume, which is great. It's also a great way to throw an outdoor party without disturbing the neighbors. It's a really cool concept, worth checking out.
This Friday the silent dance party takes over the roof deck of the Rock and Roll Hotel! Free to hang out, headphone only rental costs $5.75. The roof deck has some heaters outside to keep you a bit warm but please dress appropriately for the weather. You can always take layers off if you get too warm. This silent dance parties Blue throws may also attract some DC area Burners (who have been to Burning Man or are connected to the regional culture). It should be a fun, colorful, and possibly fuzzy clothed crowd.

Metro: Gallery Pl - Chinatown and take the X2 bus along H St to the stop closest to 14th & H St, NE or take a short taxi from Union Station or take a 90's line bus walk from 8th & H St, NE.
