The Meditation Museum (located at 8236 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, MD) invites you to join them for a special celebration, “America Meditating - Make a Shift!” at the Cultural Arts Center, Montgomery College this Friday, August 24th. This free evening of meditation and performances celebrates the shift and emergence of the peace and power within us.

The evening will include a welcome talk from The Meditation Museum's Sister Jenna, and Jan Duplain will serve as the mistress of ceremonies. Special guests include: Harriet Fulbright, actor Clarke Peters, local comedian Vijai Nathan (who has featured at Speakeasy DC, LaTiDo and other events), and leadership coach Kanu Kogod. Live performances by singers Allen Mills, Becca Levy, and the Abigail Francisco School of Classical Ballet. In addition to the performances, there will also be a panel discussion about the benefits of meditation and, of course, an opportunity to meditate with the community toward the end of the program.
