January is National Choreography Month (NACHMO). Stretch yourself and awaken your creative senses in a modern dance class and choreography workshop taught by Glade's own Sylvana Christopher. Then hang around with afterwards for a NACHMO Baltimore/DC information session and meet & greet! NACHMO is a yearly challenge for dancers to create a new piece in just one month. This is the first year that NACHMO has expanded to Baltimore/DC. Come be a part of it!

Press Play Hump Days: Comedy & Other Such Fun at the DCAC in Adams Morgan
7:30pm - 9:00pm
$10, DCAC members $8, buy online with small $1.34 service fee, or call to ask about tix at door
Press Play hosts and produces a monthly show featuring some of the best comedy, music, storytelling, etc...acts in the area! Press Play (longform improv): one of DC's longest-running improv teams and frequent festival performers brings the comedic heat! This show will feature stand-up from Chelsea Shorte, longform improv from Asian Moms, storytelling from Chase Kimball and live music from Evan and Ross. Can't make it to the January show, they are also offering $10 tickets to their Feb 11, March 11, and April 8 shows.

Feel the Love, Live is a new open mic night at Flash hosted by One Love Massive featuring Champion Sound, a 9 piece band featuring female vocalist Edy Blu. In addition, this event will feature PHILCO in between the live music! With an open mic format, all the music is 100% improv. "Known for their killer sound system and dance floor Flash is the least likely place you would expect to find such an amazing live music concept but its working, really well." Come early and sign up for the open mic or just hang out and enjoy what’s going on.
