Poetry Speaks Volumes: Deliver #BlackLivesMatter Poems to the DOJ

Join Split This Rock on Friday, January 23 at noon to deliver poems that demand racial justice and police accountability to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). They will be reading from the poems received for the Virtual Open Mic on Police Brutality and Racial Justice and delivering them to the Criminal Section of the Civil Rights Division of DOJ. Join these poets in as they stand in solidarity with people of color, echoing these requests/demands that they wish to see made, demanding justice, accountability, and an end to racism with impunity.
