"Go beyond the headlines and experience the frontlines of the Arab Spring spanning Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen and Syria. Hear directly from the photographers and filmmakers and ask them questions as we explore the genesis, conflict, and aftermath of this historical (and ongoing) seismic change." Open Show organizes live events worldwide where the public can see compelling work and interact directly with photographers, filmmakers and multimedia producers in high-profile spaces. The core monthly social screenings feature 5 curated presenters (from students to award-‐winning pros) projecting a 20 image or 3-8 minute film work with audience questions and feedback.
