Vestibule's Taint, Part 1 is a mash-up of media by dancer/choreographer Jasmine Heiss and performer Catalina Lavalle, with visual artists Joseph Hale, Joseph Orzal and HKS181.
Taint is the first in a four part performance series inspired by Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt’s Neo-Marxist classic, Empire. The artists have adopted the book as for guidelines to liberate their own approach to art and collaboration, in the hopes of transferring our experience to the audience. The piece is highly collaborative and will involve both 2-D and 3-D art, performance, and dance.
