Join the Wednesday night open mic at Busboys and Poets 5th & K, hosted by Jonathan B. Tucker this Wednesday and hear Katy Richey read a featured set of her poetry.  Katy Richey’s work has appeared in Rattle, Gargoyle Magazine, and Full Moon on K Street: Poems about Washington D.C. She co-edited the February 2011 issue of Beltway Poetry Quarterly: A Tribute to Langston Hughes and participated in a traveling photography and poetry exhibit: Anacostia Exposed, which toured Belfast, Northern Ireland. She is the open mic host for the Sunday Kind of Love reading series at Busboys and Poets 14th and V. She teaches high school ESL in Maryland.

*Wristbands are available for purchase online at midnight prior to the event, and on-site at the Global Exchange Store from 10:00 am until sold out. Limit 4 wristbands per person. Sorry, no refunds.
