As part of the week-long LGBT pride celebration in Washington, DC, the Library of Congress in hosting an inaugural event with readings by established and emerging gay and lesbian poets Joan Larkin, Kamilah Aisha Moon, D. A. Powell, and Dan Vera. The event will also feature a display of the Library's rare LGBT materials. Book sales and a signing will follow. Co-sponsored by the Library of Congress Rare Books and Special Collections Division, and presented in partnership with Capital Pride.
