The DC Arts Center presents the first solo show of DC artist Stephanie Williams, and "playfully invites us into bizarre and enticing organic systems." In her exploratory artistic method, she "uses strangeness to make space for creative questioning. Her works, ripe with texture and oozing sensuality, invite us into bizarre yet enticing organic systems."

Stephanie Williams is a DC based interdisciplinary artists who uses drawing, sculpture, painting and animation to create an aesthetic based in the peculiarities of the human body and the larger environment. Her work documents the gaps in her understandinig of these environments, and myths she has created to fill these voids.
