In celebration of the Torpedo Factory Art Center’s 40th Anniversary, a group of artists will transform the Target Gallery into a community library. Constructed from repurposed and locally sourced building materials, this Library of Alexandria will feature a diverse array of public arts programming. While on the one hand serving to archive and share TFAC’s rich history as a creative place, the exhibition also questions newly emerging modes of both art making and arts funding. official website
