Introduced by Austrian artist and filmmaker Gustav Deutsch along with Hannah Schimek.
Gustav Deutsch with Hanna Schimek and Jerzy Palacz, 2013, 93 minutes
In this film, Deutsch renders thirteen of Edward Hopper's iconic paintings to the screen with actress choreographer Stephanie Cummings as "Shirley," the woman who serenely inhabits each panorama. Additionally, Deutsch inserts historical footnotes by means of a male radio voice, an experiment that creates a slightly contrived though engaging context.

Walk a short distance SW on Chain Bridge Rd, turn right on Tennyson Dr, walk a short distance NW on Tennyson Dr, continue straight on Ingleside Ave and walk about 3 blocks N on Ingleside Ave to Old Dominion Dr and turn left. Walk a short distance and turn right on Ingleside Ave, walk about a block and turn left on Dolley Madison Blvd.
