In January 2014, the District of Columbia Arts Center will celebrate its 25th anniversary. To mark milestone, DCAC and No Kings Collective are collaborating for fundraising exhibit and online campaign inspired by and supporting DCAC’s long history of fostering artists and the emerging arts community—artists helping artists. "The project boasts a roster of 25 emerging to established artists, including several DCAC alumni. Interviews are posted daily to countdown to the fundraising exhibition, in which each participating artist was asked to donate a single piece of work. By asking non-standard questions, we opened a dialogue similar to what artists have in the studio — extended small talk — in order to reveal what makes these artists tick." How can you help? Come to the Show or donate.

No Kings Collective is a DC-based arts and culture group, composed of by working artist and designers.
