This free, fun-filled event for both youth and parents will feature health education information sessions on nutrition, fitness, skincare/personal care and reproductive health, along with breaks for healthy snacks. The fitness portion will be interactive with a chance to move to the music. Free giveaways for the first 25 people to register!

Opening Reception for "Metaphors and the Mundane" at the King Street Gallery in Silver Spring, MD featuring works by Mark Earnhart, Mary Frank, and Chloe Watson

This exhibit features three sculptors who explore objects as symbols and storytellers. Each uses the vernacular language of everyday things to reflect on the lives we live or the lives lived by others in history. Exhibit will be at the King Street Gallery at The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Arts Center in Silver Spring at the Montgomery College Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus
