GreenDrinksDC is excited to host two ten-minute spotlight speakers at this month’s event, which will be at Local 16 on U St. Enjoy speakers from DC Divest and Washington Area Bike Association.  Bring a friend. Savor Local 16's eco-minded sips and samples.

This month's speakers:


Evan Feeney, a local climate activist with DC Divest who works full-time at the Natural Reources Defense Council as Program Assistant in Government Affairs. DC Divest is a citizen driven campaign working to end the DC's investments in dirty, destructive fossil fuels and companies like Exxon and Chevron. The Fossil Fuel Divestment Act of 2013 is set for public hearing on November 26th and DC Divest invites all interested citizens to attend in support.


Greg Belling of Washington Bike Area Association, a bicycle advocacy group for the DC area. Greg Belling coordinates major infrastructure and trail advocacy. Greg began at WABA in 2010 as an event assistant working on the busy event schedule including planning the 2010 & 2011 Bike to Work Day events. In 2012, Greg transitioned to his current position in advocacy.
