Neighborhood music festival in Adams Morgan this Saturday. Enjoy free, live music on the front stoops and porches of Adams Morgan residents at Porch Fest, held in partnership with Cultural Tourism DC's Art4All program. Maps will be available on the day of the event at an information booth located at 18 Street and Columbia Road, NW.

"It may never be easier to get up close and personal with the musical talent of Washington than at the second annual Adams Morgan PorchFest when the front porches of homes and a few local businesses are transformed into intimate performance spaces to be enjoyed by anyone who happens to stroll by."

Inspired by similar PorchFest events across the country aimed at creating a family friendly, neighborhood-based alternative to the nightclub music scene, Adams Morgan's version will span an eclectic range of styles and will transform the porches of over 15 Adams Morgan homes into "stages for a day" so you can follow your ears around the community, sampling local musical talent from Brass Connection to members of the National Symphony Orchestra. All free. Family friendly.
