My friends Max and Ally of Parley are throwing another Parley Panel and Post-Panel Party! I was at the last one and had a blast. Reception & Panel will be held at Studio Gallery in Dupont Circle, followed by an After Party in Adams Morgan.

Part 1: VISION

Parley Creative Group and Studio Gallery in Dupont Circle invite you to the second instalment of VISION, a salon discussion event about perception and human insight. This month, you are invited to an invigorating evening of convivial discussion and critical inquiry with this panel of three guest creatives:

• Wilmer Wilson IV is an emerging artist and student at Howard University adept at seeing the world from a variety of angles - and in communicating these perceptions to his audiences.

• Interior designer Valerie Trent designs environments for use and habitation by humans, and also blogs about design.

• Makeup artist Natalie Goins (pictured, compliments of Nik Schiller's site) has the power to bring out your inner self in ways both nuanced and fantastical.

Parley is taking the volume up a notch later in the evening with afterimage, an art concept party at Parely's super-secret Adams Morgan headquarters. If you plan to attend both the panel and the party, they suggest that you grab a bite to eat in Dupont after the panel and then meet up again at the party in Adams Morgan. Come prepared to get paint and glitter on your face as this artsy after party is going to be participatory.

wilmer wilson iv will be doing a live art installation, and makeup artist natalie goins will be bringing out your inner fantastical creature. wine and light snacks will be provided. max fowler cohen will be in the mix- there might be a refurbished 1970s 'royal'-brand typewriter involved.

Location to be disclosed. You can get from Dupont Circle to Adams Morgan easily by taking the 42 bus toward Mt Pleasant from anywhere along Connecticut Avenue or you can likely even walk, though it's a little bit of a hill it isn't too far.
