Transient is an exhibition of video-based artworks focusing on themes of change on view in the Corcoran's Gallery 31. The works in this exhibit range from abstract to documentary, from irreverent to deadly-serious, but all take advantage of the fleeting, temporal nature of video to illustrate transience in the human condition. The exhibition will feature works by Forest Allread, Josh Bricker, William A. Brown, Alfred Dong, Brett Dougherty, Benjamin Funke, Jennifer Steensma Hoag, Whitney Lynn, Christopher McNulty, Peter Nelson, Chee Wang Ng, Mary Overman, Ruthless Animals (Lauren Ruth and Ann Gaziano), Jordan Swartz, Claudia X. Valdes, and Tucker Walsh. Read more here.
