PAST: FILM: The Reel Women Film Festival comes to a close with a Screening of the Spanish Film "The Plague" on SUN, Dec 15th at 2:00pm at the Gala Hispanic Theatre, Festival runs WED, Dec 11th - SUN, Dec 15th, Free, donations appreciated

Free, donations appreciated, $10 suggested per film

REEL Women will present five contemporary films that present the world as women experience it, and a panel discussion about women in film with Mexican filmmaker Natalia Beristain and Spanish filmmaker Paula Ortiz. There will also be a special screening of the iconic 1940s Mexican film, "María Candelaria" for a total of six films.  The Mexican film "She Doesn't Want to Sleep Alone/No quiero dormir solo" kicked of the REEL Women Film Festival at GALA Hispanic Theatre on Wednesday night.
