"The DMV Roast" is a new monthly event brought to you by Capital City Showcase. Themes vary, every first Tuesday of the month as part of  "Tuesdays with Funnie" at The Brixton on U St.

Some of the area’s funniest comics come together to roast DC’s sports teams, public figures, and current events. Each show will feature a "comic stand-in" to play the part of the idea being roasted. The Brixton will also be offering their Happy Hour from 7:00pm till 10:00pm.

For this edition of The DMV Roast - which happens to also be election day - they will be roasting The Mayoral Candidates, with Chelsea Shorte as Muriel Bowser, Donnie Sengstack as David Catania and Katherine Jessup as Carol Schwartz.
