Book Signing with Roland Mesnier, Author of A Sweet World of White House Desserts
Thursday, December 18
11:30am - 2:30pm
Free to attend, books available for purchase
The White House Historical Association hosts Roland Mesnier at the White House Visitor Center for a special booksigning celebrating his award-winning title A Sweet World of White House Desserts. In this memoir featuring full-color images of one-of-a-kind creations and stories about the people and places that inspired them, Mesnier, pastry chef to five presidents, recalls the stunning desserts he created for White House State Dinners, formal events, and family celebrations. Together with his blown-sugar confections and molded chocolate sculptures, they are a unique chapter in the history of dining in the President’s House.
