Nonviolent Communication (NVC), or Collaborative Communication, is a powerful tool for resolving and mediating interpersonal, intra-personal, organizational, and inter-group conflicts. It is used worldwide by parents, teachers, doctors, social workers, managers, and others to improve their work and home life. The practice of NVC can help us understand ourselves more fully, provide us with a sense of power and choice in our lives, and open our hearts to compassionately connect and collaborate with others. This day-long public event will bring together a team of DC-area NVC trainers and facilitators to offer numerous interactive workshops on a variety of topics for participants to choose from, including introductory and advanced NVC sessions.
