Those interested in international issues of race should enjoy this conference. The purpose of this conference is to “bring attention to Cuba’s internal discourses and negotiations on racial identity, racism, and government policies to address one of the most fundamental democratic issues in Cuba today.” The conference begins with coffee at 9:00am, and includes four panels with a break for lunch at noon.
