Spring Open Studios at Jackson Art Center in Georgetown
Sunday, April 28th
12:00pm - 5:00pm
All ages, Free
Jackson Art Center, in the heart of Georgetown, is home to over 40 local artists. With works ranging from contemporary to classical, this more under the radar artist community opens its doors biannually to the public.
Come on out and explore this old Victorian Schoolhouse filled with artists young and old! Guests can enjoy complimentary light refreshments and live music while visiting the studios of artists. View works on paper, canvas and fabric, in oil, acrylic, pencil, and pastel, as well as photography, sculpture, ceramics and more. Be sure to swing by my friend Emma O'Rourke's studio and say hi to local potter Eileen Egan as well. Can't make it to the Spring Open House? Save the date for the Fall Open House on November 17th.
