Come out the National Portrait Gallery in Chinatown this Saturday to join the DC Youth Slam Team for a fun-filled day of family-friendly poetry activities and performances in honor of National Poetry Month.

Celebrate National Poetry Month with the museum and DC-based poetry group Split This Rock. Take a curator-led tour of Poetic Likeness: Modern American Poets, listen to the DC Youth Slam perform, participate in mini-poetry workshops, and join in a short “open mic” poetry session for children.
