Now in its fourth year, the Visiting Artist Program is intended as a professional development opportunity for emerging and experienced visual artists from all over the country and provides a unique opportunity for visitors to interact with a rotating group of visual artists.

This year, nine artists have been selected by juror Maria Karametou for summer residencies at the Torpedo Factory: Susan Emmerson (Bloomington, IL), Regina Davis Izaguirre (Arlington, VA), Chris Motley (San Francisco, CA), Linda Lowery (Alexandria, VA), Caroline McCatty (Clarksville, MD), Artemus Meindanis (Talbot, TN), Marcelo Novo (Alexandria, VA), Martha Spak (Potomac, MD), and Tamara Wilkerson (Alexandria, VA).
