Learn something new about DC! The public is invited to come out to All Souls Church at 16th & Harvard to learn more about this year's DC Community Heritage Project (a partnership between the Humanities Council of Washington, DC, the DC Historic Preservation Office, and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities) grant award winners - Washingtonians who research, interpret, and publicize the history of their communities.
This year's program will feature:
- An expo-style showcase at which project directors and scholars will demonstrate their innovative work in DC community history.
- A keynote address from a public history scholar
- A brief film featuring all 2012 DCCHP grantees and their work

Metro: Columbia Heights, walk south on 14th to Columbia, turn right and walk one block to 15th, turn left, make a right at the next corner which is Harvard and look for the entrance. You can also take any of the S line buses along 16th St right to Harvard.
