7:00pm - 9:00pm

From the invite: Join arts advocate and author Dutty Bookman as he presents an introduction of the Reggae Revival movement in Jamaica. Watch a series of short videos, including never before seen interviews with some of the leading figures of this rising crop of artists. Learn about this cultural movement in the music, as Reggae goes back to its’ roots – led by a contingent of young stars, such as Protoje, Jah9, Chronixx, Kabaka Pyramid, Raging Fyah, Romain Virgo, Tarrus Riley, Keida and Jesse Royal & Iba MaHr.

Bookman will also discuss his role as a writer within a movement abundant in musicians, singers and visual artists, but short on writers. His first book, the Caribbean non-fiction bestseller, "Tried & True: Revelations of a Rebellious Youth" will be discussed as well. Washington-based reggae artist, Dejazmatch Kwasi, will follow with a performance.
