BIKKURIBAKO closing reception
Saturday, December 15th
2:00pm - 4:00pm
Free

Today is he closing reception for BIKKURIBAKO, a surreal pop-up art installation in Kaz Okochi's sushi restaurant, Oh Fish. Enjoy sushi rolling, drink sipping, silent auction art bidding, music listening, origami folding and haiku writing!

BIKKURIBAKO is an untranslatable Japanese concept essentially meaning “lovely surprise box.” The impromptu gallery at Oh Fish is an experiment in the synergies possible between the business and art communities to bring a surprising burst of color and creations into the relatively flat and colorless downtown lunch experience. The installation has been on view the past few weeks  during business hours, M-F 11-7, and today is the final day of the show.
