March Trainers Network Skillshare: Conflict ResolutionDC Trainers Network: Facilitating Multilingual Spaces June Skillshare
Wednesday, June 5th
6:30pm - 8:30pm or so
Free

Calling all popular educators, trainers, facilitators, instructors, teachers, and anyone interested in further developing those skills!  The DC Trainers’ Network monthly skillshare is a structured, interactive space where people can share skills and gain confidence in their training abilities and everybody is both a teacher and a learner. It strives to provide an inclusive practice space to experiment with different approaches for learning and teaching.

From the invite:
  • What is language justice and how can we incorporate it into broader social justice work?
  • Tools for working with multilingual communities and creating multilingual organizing spaces.
  • Language justice resources: working with interpreters and resources available locally
We'll be working to get some of these questions, and others answered at June's Trainers Network Skillshare! We hope you'll join us, along with Anna Duncan from the DC Interpreters Collective & Sapna Pandya from Many Languages One Voice toexplore language justice, and the roles that Facilitators and Trainers play in achieving it.
