Highlights for Saturday, April 12th

Yellow Barn Gallery: Making Waves - Kathleen Zeifang's Recent Paintings
Saturday, April 12th
12:00pm - 5:00pm
Free

In cooperation with The National Park Service and The Glen Echo Partnership for Arts and Culture. Kathleen Zeifang will present her recent paintings at the Glen Echo Yellow Barn Gallery April 12 and 13, 2014. The gallery will be open both Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5:00 pm. An opening reception will be held Saturday April 12 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Zeifang’s ethereal sense of light as it reflects in the moment of a wave’s crest, the June sky, autumn’s dusk, the moon’s reflection, give her work a calm energy that captures unseen moments. Her abstracts explore color in active relation. Still life paintings and landscapes applauded nature’s bounty.
