Latino Economic Development Center and
Housingforall DC invite you to join with renters from all over DC to stand up for Tenant Rights and Affordable Housing. Hear from tenants who are fighting to keep their homes affordable, get stronger protections against unfair rent increases, make sure that they have safe and decent housing conditions, and save public and subsidized housing. Join the folks from LEDC and others in demanding real solutions, and show your elected officials that affordable housing is a priority to you! 1pm-2pm: Lunch and Time to speak with DC housing agencies (OTA, DCHA, DCRA, DHCD, DDOE), legal service providers, and community organizations. 2pm-4pm: Presentation of the 2014 Tenant Priorities, Responses from elected officials and government agencies.

Metro: Columbia Heights and walk or take any of the buses, S2 or S4, that run along 16th St right to Newton, drops you right in front of St Stephens. For those who plan to drive, there is a garage below the mall on Park Rd. between 14th and 15th St, or you may be able to find street parking.
