Presented by IBIS: A Chamber Music Society. Soprano Elizabeth Kluegel sings words of great American writers Frost, Whitman, Agee and Lincoln set to music. The program includes a newly commissioned work for IBIS by composer Ray Shattenkirk: "The Better Angels" sets texts by and about Abraham Lincoln. Also on the program-- an original arrangement of Barber's "Knoxville Summer of 1915."
