Hometown Holidays is Rockville's premier music and community event. Hometown Holidays features more than 30 free concerts on five stages, a Taste of Rockville as well as kid and teen activities and entertainment. Some performers this year are The Shack Band, B Side Shuffle, Brothers Osborne, Green River Ordinance, The Nighthawks, Fighting Jamesons, Lionize, Elenowen, John Brown’s Body, Lloyd Dobler Effect, American Aquarium and many, many more.

Haitian Art Reception!

Come enjoy a taste of Haitian culture through unique fair-trade artwork! Beyond Borders, a local non-profit which supports social movements in Haiti to: end child slavery, guarantee universal access to education, end violence against women and girls, and supports dignified and sustainable livelihoods, is hosting an art reception at Modern Times Coffeehouse. The reception will be featuring metal work done by Haitian artisans and art work done by a talented Haitian artist, named Michelet "Najee" Calice. Not only will you be able to view his unique art but, you will also be able to hear from the the artist himself and have the opportunity to ask him questions.
