Campus Kitchens of Washington, D.C.'s Inaugural Community Breakfast
Sunday, August 11th
7:00am - 9:00am
Free
The Campus Kitchen at Washington, D.C. (CKWDC) presents its inaugural Community Breakfast, taking place at St. Luke’s Mission Center in Glover Park. This event is completely free and is open to the entire community. "We especially wish to invite people vulnerable to food insecurity in the District of Columbia. According to Leadership Team Chair, David Hackney, “With this breakfast, we seek to break down barriers and create a place where all members of the community can come, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and get to know each other.” Vegetarian menu options will be available for those who wish. The Campus Kitchen at Washington, D.C. will offer this Community Breakfast on the second Sunday of every month to start, but will begin offering it weekly very soon! Call 202-333-4949 or email ckwdc@campuskitchens.org for more information. Opportunities to volunteer are also available!"
