"Yoni Rising: Sun Visions of the Portal to the Divine Feminine"
Free, donations welcome
Fundraiser, to bring awareness to Female Genital Mutilation
On view Sunday, August, 19th - Saturday,  September 1st

"The "Yoni Rising"photo exhibition shines the light of the Sun on the shadowy aspects of a woman’s sensual depths, her Yoni’s life generating qualities and sexual essence; it puts the Sun’s light on the mysterious doorway of the portal to the infinite divine feminine. It upholds and paints its sacred face, casting light on the various moods of the female genital as the Yoni’s sultry Moon darkness is penetrated by the Sun’s firey erection."

"With the war on the Womb, this exhibition reveals a powerful and holistic way of understanding that the war outside the Womb is a mirror of the war inside the Womb; when one Womb is violated, all Wombs are violated. There is only One Womb. There’s no black womb or white womb, no poor womb or rich womb. There is only One Womb. Wellness begins with the spirit, therefore the spirit of our collective Womb needs healing in order to begin a more progressive, integrated and accelerated path of authentic love within the human family."

"At a pivotal point in the reawakening of the mother essence & goddess spirit, this pictorial glimpse of an eco-sensual Womb ceremony carves out a defining moment in the history of the divine feminine."  You can read more about the show on the main website here.

This exhibition brings awareness to Female Genital Mutilation – a part of the longstanding war on the Womb. It exposes and contrasts the violence, brutality, and mutilation of the Womb and the ongoing attempts to cease women’s right to natural pleasure, creation and birthing. Proceeds goes to Equality Now, a charity organization working towards the banning of FGM in Liberia.
