During the holiday season, we often turn out attention toward gratitude and the life of the spirit. Sometimes living with cancer asks us to consider these things with more focus and urgency than we have before.
Carole O'Toole, cancer survivor and author of two books on integrative cancer care, leads many of Smith Center's one-day retreats. In this talk, she will be sharing what she has learned about living a life of fullness, authenticity and joyfully, even (and especially) in the face of illness. As we go through the hustle and bustle of the holidays, we hope this will be an opportunity for stimulating ideas and inward reflection about what matters most in our lives.
