This Wednesday at the at The National Archives McGowan Theater, Jason Schupbach, Director of Design for the National Endowment for the Arts, will moderate a discussion about the ways that people use and enjoy public parks. Panelists include John Bela, founder of Rebar; Theaster Gates, artist and cultural planner; and Tupper Thomas, former Administer of Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY.
The program is a companion event to the National Mall Design Competition that seeks to redesign three spaces on the National Mall. Presented in partnership with the National Capital Planning Commission, the Trust for the National Mall, and the City Parks Alliance.
