The 9th annual "Artful Weekend," a holiday show sponsored by the Arlington Artists Alliance, takes place this weekend at the restored early 20th century Hendry House, Fort C. F. Smith, Arlington, VA.
The show and sale will feature forty 2- and 3-d artists working in oil, pastel, water media, collage, ceramics, wood, textiles, and glass in a variety of styles from realism to non-representational abstract. There will be work priced for every budget and suitable as gifts or for home and business. Throughout the show there will be opportunities to meet exhibition artists and enjoy light refreshments. There will be an opening "Meet the Artists" Reception as well on Friday, December 2nd from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
