Examine the politics surrounding reproductive justice, health care human rights and minority women. The program will feature a short documentary film "We Always Resist: Trust Black Women" followed by a discussion with Angela Sutton, Senior Health Policy Associate for the Black Women’s Health Imperative and local activist and radio personality Nkenge Toure', host of "All Our Voices" on WPFW. Celebrate the power of music at Join Busboys and Poets 5th & K St location with the Songwriters Association of Washington (SAW). They'll be hosting their monthly Singer-Songwriter Open Mic hosted by Molly Hagen again this Sunday. Open to all styles of music, must be original songs. SAW is a non-profit organization established in 1979 to benefit aspiring and professional songwriters. Learn more here.
