From the invite: "Got those winter blues? Never want to hear the words polar vortex again? Come dance away the chill on Saturday, February 22nd with Put Your Hoe Down, a smoking hot band from Boston. Michelle Yu and Emily Horne will thrill us with twin fiddles while Rafe Wolman pounds the guitar and Alex Scala holds it down on bass. Joanne Pontrello is coming all the way from the other Washington to call some old-time dances for us. It's going to be a heel-kickin', partner-swingin', sashayin' good time! Oh and hey it's our third birthday! To celebrate three delightful years of square dance reviving in the District, we will have a third batch of letterpress posters for sale. They're designed, type-set, and printed by by DC Square Dance Collective member Cynthia Connolly. Bring an extra $5 to take one home with you.  As always, all are welcome – young and old, brand new and experienced dancers. No partner, lessons, overalls, or fancy dress needed." This dance is sponsored by the Folklore Society of Greater Washington.
