DC Music Salon: Beatles first US Show, Washington Coliseum, 50th Anniversary Screening at the Shaw Library
Wednesday, February 12th
7:00pm - 9:00pm
Free

"The Beatles first concert in the United States was at the Washington Coliseum (3rd & M., NE) on February 11, 1964. We'll screen the show in its entirety (spoiler alert, The Beatles kill it!) and have a conversation with those who were there firsthand... or wish they were! Among those joining us, Tom Carrico (former manager of Mary Chapin Carpenter, etc.), Naomi Banks and her Coliseum scrapbook (she lived on the block, worked at the venue), Washingtoniana (DC Public Library's archive) will display great photos from the Washington Star newspaper and other surprises."

1630 7th St NW - at 7th & R
Metro: Shaw, directly above the metro exit
