Closing party for ARTpocalypse at The Dunes this Saturday night will also feature live music! Musician David Zaidain has pulled together a some friends to play tunes from his two solo projects: The Art of Forgetting (2010) and Magnolia (2012). The group features: Jason Hoese (guitar), John Rowles (drums), Kyle Schmitt (bass) and Anna Stark (vocals).

"ARTpocalypse” pulls together 20+ of DC’s established and undiscovered artists to create works of art that predict and parody what might happen to us all on the night of December 21, 2012. With the impending ‘end of the world’ foretold by the Mayan civilization. Local artist Dana Ellyn, who is the artist behind this one, wanted to create something special to celebrate the end of humanity. Artists in the show include: Dana Ellyn and her artist husband Matt Sesow, along with Todd Gardner, Emily Green Liddle, Anna U. Davis, Todd Gardner, Scott G. Brooks and others.

On view hours: Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 6:00pm and Saturday - Sunday 12:00pm - 3:00pm
