"A musical conversation with Virginia Woolf and local female composer-pianists."

Featuring songs paired with passages from "A Room of One's Own" by Virginia Woolf, audience participation, and a discussion and screening of a "Girl Effect" video about 21st century answer - educate girls - to poverty in the 3rd world. How do we celebrate the 2nd century of new opportunities for women in the arts, mostly in the Western World, while raising awareness about the 21st Century of continued oppression of women, especially in the third world?  Excerpts from A Room of One’s Own will be read and “responded to” as part of this SKIN OF THE DAY performance-conversation.
