      Benjamin Rasmussen, Kvívík, Faroe Islands
"Benjamin Rasmussen grew up in the Philippines on the small island of Balabac. His mother is American and his father comes from the Faroe Islands, a small Danish protectorate in the North Atlantic. As an adult, he moved to the U.S. and married a woman from rural Wyoming. Belonging to three groups so geographically, culturally and linguistically separated from one another, he exists in a middle place between them. "Home" has grown out of a desire for his different worlds to interact with and know each other."

Honfleur Gallery is open: Tuesday - Friday 12:00pm-5:00pm & Saturday 11:00am - 5:00pm
