The final remaining Saturday afternoon "Meditation for Stress Reduction"workshop at the Thornton / Shepherd Park Library, located on Georgia Ave about a mile from the Silver Spring Metro will be led by David Newcomb of Science of Spirituality DC.

About the facilitator: Author, musician, teacher and long-time D.C. resident David Newcomb has been mediating for many years. He worked for as a contract consultant specializing in construction contract disputes until his retirement in 2010. David is a published author, and has written three stage plays and numerous poems. His more recent work includes a collection of spiritual songs, Satsangi Symphony.
