PAST: SPECIAL EVENT: Love Dogs and Beer? Come on out to the Wiener 500 Dachshund Dash on SAT, Sept 21st from 1:00pm - 4:00pm, benefiting the Washington Humane Society, Family-friendly, Dog-friendly and Free!
Love Dogs? Love Beer? Than you do not want to miss the Wiener 500 Dachshund Dash on Saturday, September 21st at the Woodrow Wilson Plaza at the Ronald Reagan Building. The event is dog-friendly, family-friendly and free.
Grab a beer as you watch a bunch of Dachshunds "dash" down a 50' green as they compete for the title of fasted DC Dachshund. Have a Dachshund you want to enter in the race? It's a $20 fee, 100% of that goes to the Washington Humane Society.
Metro: Federal Triangle drops you right there, you can also walk a few blocks from Metro Center if you're coming from the red line. For those who wish to drive, parking will be available in the building parking lot – please note, you must be prepared to present your driver's license on entry. More info here.
