PAST: IMPROV + RELAX: Improvisation and Relaxation Workshop at the Chevy Chase Community Center near Friendship Heights Metro "Let's Have Fun!" this TUES, Jan 29th from 7:30pm - 9:00pm, Free
This free improvisation and relaxation workshop will be co-facilitated by Joy Mariama Smith from Philadelphia and Dr. Pat Webbink. They'll share ways that you can use improvisational dance as a catalyst to shrug off winter blues, working collectively and individually. During the workshop, be prepared to act silly, play games, and surprise yourself. "Joy will use reverse sequencing, mimicry, touch and voice to open each participant to the possibilities of fun in improvisation. Pat will facilitate relaxation and imagery."
