Pop: Sucker - Cory Oberndorfer
presents objects of innocence in an age of maturity, as they have shattered or set over time. Delicious colors of paint provide a thin mask over hardened cement. Broken lollipops reveal the fabricated nature beneath the surface of the subject. Minimal in their shape, form and color, these pieces do not ask the viewer to consider the work itself, but their own nostalgia.

Decoy, |
is a compilation of paintings and stories inspired by DECOY's life as an artist and art educator in Washington, D.C. She sites the children that she works with as a huge blessing - from picking them up after school to learning how to roller skate in Anacostia Park. She truly believes in them and is constantly inspired by their creativity, strength and style.
Metro: Woodley Park and walk or take the Circulator bus one stop to Adams Mill, walk to Columbia Rd and turn right, or Dupont Circle and take the 42 bus toward Mt Pleasant a bit closer, right to Mintwood Pl
