PAST: WORKSHOP: Final Workshop of the "Getting the Most Out of Life" Mindfulness and Positive Psychology series at All Souls Unitarian will be on WED, March 12th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm, $5 per class, attend any or all


"Getting the Most Out of Life" - Mindfulness and Positive Psychology
Six-week series at All Souls Unitarian at 16th & Columbia
Weekly on Wednesdays from February 5th - March 12th
7:00pm - 9:00pm
$5 per class, attend any or all as you are able

This course looks at the fields of mindfulness and positive psychology to help understand what contributes to increased happiness, lower stress, and greater success in our lives. Attendees will examine personal experiences and learn practical skills to increase happiness on a daily and long-term basis. The course consists of six sessions and seeks to encourage participants' personal and spiritual growth.

Wed, Mar. 12th: Purpose & Spirituality. 
Distinguishing between a pleasurable life and meaningful one, participants will examine meaning and purpose in their life as a source of strength and motivation."

Past Workshops: 

Wed, Feb. 5th:  Mindfulness & Happiness. 
After a brief overview of positive psychology and fundamental factors that lead to happiness, we focus on mindfulness as a fundamental building block for enhancing happiness.

Wed, Feb. 12th: Gratitude. 
After an introduction to the benefits of gratitude in regards to overall happiness and well-being, participants learn of concrete practices to cultivate gratitude on a daily basis.

Wed, Feb. 19th: Optimism.
Participants learn about explanatory styles and how to view the world around them more positively.

Wed, Feb. 26th: Relationships.
Considering love, the single most important source of life satisfaction and emotional well-being, participants explore ways to develop healthy relationships and foster positive connections.

Wed, Mar. 5th: Strengths & Goal Setting. 
Discussing fulfillment, participants will identify their strengths, find ways to use them, and learn how to form positive habits.
