"Caring for the World House: A Shared Responsibility"

The Humanities Council of Washington DC hosts the third and final free event in the The World House Series: The Philosophy of Green. This series was inspired by Martin Luther King, Jr's speech referencing the "World House" envisioning a "socially conscious democracy which reconciles the truths of individualism and collectivism."
The discussion will be moderated by David Rowland. Panelists include:
- H.E. Mr. Akramul Qader, Ambassador of Bangladesh to the US
- Günter Hörmandinger, First Counselor, Environment, Delegation of theEuropean Union
- Edith Grace Ssempala, Head of the Civil Society Team, World Bank Groupand former Ambassador to the US from Uganda
